Here’s my Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Review, I know you guys have been waiting to see what I think of this highly popular course so, enjoy!

Last year, I received an email into my inbox that was set to change my life. It was from pro-blogger Michelle from Making Sense of Cents. Michelle started blogging as an outlet (like most of us) in August 2011 but quickly grew her part-time blog into a full-time income.

Right now she earns upwards of $100,000 PER MONTH from her blog. Yes, you read that right!

The email was all about a course she’d just launched called ‘Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing‘. Designed to teach you how you can make money from your blog just like she does. The cost of the course was $197 (around £150) so I thought about it, not for days but for the best part of two weeks.

Then I remembered – To make money you need to spend money.

A blog is no different, so if you want to seriously start earning money from this you need to invest in your education I thought. So, with one GIANT gulp – I bought it.

This is a basic – advanced course. It will teach you how to go from £1 to £100 a month, maybe even £100 to £1,000 a month. However, if you’re already earning upwards of £1,000 I’d advise you to look at a more advanced course than this one.

People Who Don’t Want To Work Hard

Don’t be fooled.

Passive income from affiliate marketing maybe passive BUT it takes work to set up. You need to write the posts in the first place, you need to A/B test, you need to market, research promote… and remain relevant.

The course could easily be read from start to finish in one day, however, it’s the implementation of the course that is going to take the time. Researching relevant affiliates, applying for each and every programme, adjusting every blog post, creating new Pinterest pins.

This can take WEEKS depending on the amount of content you have (which is why I’d recommend doing the course sooner rather than later).

Use the worksheet “The Perfect Affiliate Link Checklist” to make sure your affiliate link is perfect. A perfect affiliate link will lead to higher click-through-rates and conversions.

My Affiliate Marketing Results

So, I’ve given you my Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing review, but what about the results. Did I see any as a result of taking the course? Well, yes, yes I did.

I joined the Facebook group for the course in July 2016. I couldn’t find the exact date or transaction from when I bought the course so this was the closest thing to highlight the date I began to implement the techniques from Michelle’s course.

Look at how in the following months my affiliate income grew by hundreds upon hundreds of pounds – and that’s just one affiliate!
